No industry went untouched from the COVID-19 pandemic, including the wedding industry.
With people unable to invite their friends and family to their wedding due to social distancing rules, they cancelled or postponed them. In fact, 82% of weddings planned for April 2020 were postponed or cancelled.
Faced with uncertainty, Pure Invitation needed to pivot their business. They needed a business that could operate online and wasn’t based on social gatherings.
They decided to start printing framed wall art and, thus, Pure Wall Art was born.
Our mission with Pure Wall Art was to design and build an entirely new website.
With a large portion of online shopping done on smartphones, we had a particular focus on the mobile user experience. All too often, mobile is neglected. We, however, paid close attention to detail.
We also designed and implemented a dynamic product customiser; visitors can select a frame and border option for their art and see how it looks in real-time.
And for added usability, we gave visitors the option to buy bundles and sets.
We’ve worked with Courageous for several years now, most recently on the launch of our new ecommerce venture Pure Wall Art. It’s always a pleasure working with Darren and the team and they’re fantastic at bringing an idea to life.
Collaborating during the pandemic was a challenging time but Courageous were efficient and thoughtful throughout the design and build process and the result is a top-notch website that has far surpassed our expectations.
As a small business it’s vital we partner with supportive suppliers that work with us to achieve our goals and that’s what Courageous do.
