Pure Invitation was founded in 2004 by Carol Vincent after a ‘disastrous attempt’ at making her own wedding invitations. She and her husband-to-be were over their budget for the wedding, so Carold decided to save money by making their own wedding invitations. She thought to herself, ‘I’m a creative person, how hard can it be?’
As it turns out, quite difficult.
She found herself wandering around her local craft shop not having a clue where to begin, and eventually spent a lot of money on card blanks and decorations with pretty average results.
After her wedding, Carol reflected on being forced to spend on poor stationery and pondered about how many other couples found themselves in the same position, and on that day Pure Invitation was born!

Pure Invitation wanted an effective and beautiful eCommerce website built from scratch.
The range and customisability of their products posed a challenge to the functionality and smoothness of the website. With so many design options, we were tasked with clearly displaying them to the customer and guiding them to the checkout.
We built a dynamic product customiser that makes choosing from the dozens of customisations easy and enjoyable.
Furthermore, with a large portion of online shopping done on mobile phones, we made sure the mobile user experience is clear and easy.
